I have recently completed my doctoral thesis in commercial gestational surrogacy in India from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi. I look forward to a career in academics--teaching and research.
My teaching and research interests include sociology of kinship, sociological theory, medical anthropology, law and society, sociology of development, and others. I have taught many of these papers at the undergraduate level at the University of Delhi. I was also part of curriculum review and course structuring workshops at the University of Delhi and at the Indira Gandhi National Open University.
