I am a diligent third year student in the faculty of education (BEd senior phase and FET), studying at the University of Johannesburg. Developing a love for literature and the art of storytelling played a fundamental role in my two majors which are English and History. The study of education has assisted me in developing a teaching philosophy that surrounds perceiving education at a larger scale that goes beyond educational platforms such as schools. I believe it is vital to understand that education is a lifelong process that can take place anywhere and at anytime. It is my responsibility as an educator to guide and equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills.
