As an Academic Interventionist, I work with educational professionals and parents to assess reading skills and plan interventions for students K-6th grade. I assist the school leadership in implementing the RTI (Response To Intervention) model that Rutherford County Schools has adopted to meet every child's needs academically.
Specialties include: Reading intervention, classroom academic and behavioral interventions, staff training, special education, preschool, staff and program management, anti-bullying training, de-escalation techniques, nonviolent physical crisis intervention, Reading Recovery training, and LETRS reading strategies.
