I started my carrier in Pharma in 1978 as Medical rep and was promoted in Feb 1981 as field manager. I joined Metro group in Feb1982 as Executive trainee at Ludhiana and was promoted as BM- Ghaziabad in June 1982'. Through four promotions, I became head of Sales in 1993 and worked till 1996 with Metro group.
During these forteen years, I launched Auto tyres in 1983 (By 1993 we had 49% of Agricultural tyes share), In 1987, I set up Metro Appliances pvt ltd (Now Metro Ortem Ltd). I invented Trade Mark "Ortem" jointly with Mr. Y S Verma. Launched Fans and appliances including Sewing Machines.
