Alain Ferrand, PhD,is professor of marketing at the University of Poitiers, France, and director of the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences and Society (Maison des Sciences de l'Homme et de la Société - University of Poitiers & CNRS USR 3565). He is a visiting professor at the Catholic University of Leuven, INEFC Catalunya, University of Turin and at the “Scuola Dello Sport” in Rome (Italian Olympic Committee – CONI Servizi).
