Established in 1954, Howick Little Theatre is one of Auckland's leading community theatre groups and a leading company in New Zealand. Each year a season of five plays is presented, many of them premieres, to thousands of people from all over Auckland and various parts of the North Island. In 2014, HLT will be celebrating 60 years of producing community theatre.
