One of the co-founders and I went to an Innovation conference and heard Dr Nancy Snyder from Whirlpool talk about how she took the board out to people’s homes to watch them fill washing machines – the insight gathered led to the washing machine that stands on a plinth (so you don’t have to bend down to fill it up).
