Ana joined the School of Dementia Studies in September 2015 where she currently works as a Dementia Care Consultant and Trainer.
She completed her BA and MA in Gerontology at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and the PhD in Gerontology and Geriatrics at the University of Porto/University of Aveiro (Portugal). Her thesis was entitled Supporting direct care workers caring for people with dementia exploring the effects of a psycho-educational intervention.
