My education in the Physics and Materials areas allowed me teaching several subjects in these fields at different levels of education.
All research projects that I had been involved consisted in thin films production by sputtering, applying different methods and deposition parameters in order to protect the surfaces of mechanical components against wear and corrosion. Thus, I have some working experience with equipment used in the thin films production and characterization.
The characterization of the coatings was focused on the evaluation of physical, chemical, mechanical and tribological properties, which were used for different analytical techniques as described below: HRSEM, HRTEM, ...
