I am an English Monk, resident in India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia since 1999. I was fully ordained in Sri Lanka in 1996. I currently live in Vivekavana, a remote forest monastery in mainland Penang. Since 2000 I have been working on texts and translations from the early Buddhist tradition, which can be found on my website Ancient Buddhist Texts. There are now over 100 works on the site. In 2009 I started the Photo Dharma website, which now has over 5,000 high-definition photographs taken at temples, historical and pilgrimage sites throughout SE Asia.
