Andrena McMayo is the Treasurer at the Victoria Mutual (VM) Group, Jamaica’s second largest Building Society and one of Jamaica’s few indigenous financial groups.
She is a Jamaican who graduated from the University of the West Indies (UWI) with a BSc in Economics & Accounting and from Temple University with an MSc Finance. During her tenure at the UWI she tutored part-time; it was then she first fell in love with teaching. She is now a regular contributor to the Jamaica Gleaner, usually on education matters, as well as an Adjunct Lecturer in the UWI MSc in Enterprise Risk Management program.
