Andrew graduated from the University of Limerick in 2015 with a First Class Honours degree in Materials and Architectural Technology. He completed his Final Year Thesis through research entitled ‘A Profile of the Technology Teacher in Post-Primary Education in Ireland: A Discourse Analysis of Pedagogies and Prevailing Practices’ for which he received a special commendation from the University of Limerick Technology Education Steering Committee. In May 2015 Andrew received the 3rd UL40th Science and Engineering Summer Research Bursary from the University of Limerick.
