I have over 35 years of experience in the metals and mining sector, ranging from copper, zinc, gold and silver trading and hedging, to concentrate trading, running mineral exploration programmes, fundraising (debt and equity) and market research. For many years I had been a director of the London Office of the Polish copper and silver producer KGHM, where my duties involved copper, silver, and gold trading, both physical and LME futures. I played played an active part in the parent company’s IPO in 1997. During the subsequent years I acquired substantial consulting and research experience in both base metals and precious metals while working in the UK, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Switzerland...
