I am Anele Skosana and I am currently a 3rd year student at the university of Johannesburg. I am majoring in Afrikaans and Physical education. Afrikaans is a language with deep roots in South African history, it is this deep history that ignited a fire within me to become an advocate for Afrikaans education. Growing up i was fortunate to be exposed to the diverse linguistic landscape of our nation. As I pursued my education and engaged with the language , I realized that Afrikaans is more than just words on a page. it is a gateway to understanding the complexities of our African history and the unity through shared expressions. i am determined to help learners learn
