The 'hypnotherapist' tag is a very limiting one; I am a therapist who happens to frequently use hypnosis and EFT and I am more interested in addressing the roots of problems rather than concentrating solely on the presenting symptom. Providing a different intellectual framework for the individual to embrace - one which liberates from self-limiting beliefs and attitudes - is more important than any trancework could ever be. Laying the foundations for profound change through perceptual shift is the initial and critical work - the use of tools such as standard hypnosis, EFT, client visualisation work, NLP etc comes after.
