A former Fulbright fellow with a PhD in Economic Geography (UCLA, 2014) and M.S. degrees in both Statistics (UCLA, 2012) and Geography/GIS (MSU, 2009). Experienced Assistant Professor in Economics at Peking University with a proven track record of publishing in top peer-reviewed academic journals, including World Development, Research Policy, China Economic Review, Economic Geography, among others. Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Urban Economics, Economic Geography, the Chinese economy, China and the world economy, and econometrics and data science.
