I am a Senior Data Scientist at TrueMotion, a Boston-based start-up creating mobile apps and big data platforms for making driving safer and more affordable. My areas of interest include data-driven product development, signal processing, machine learning, user testing, and data visualization. Previously I was the Senior Data Scientist at Runkeeper, and before that I spent 10 years as a member of the research staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, working in the fields of cyber security and ballistic missile defense. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 2011, where my research focused on numerical methods for the analysis of massive data sets.
