Dr. Arshi Saleem Hashmi specializes in Religion and Politics of Violent conflicts with special reference to South Asia. She has an M.A in International Peace and Conflict Resolution, from the School of International Service (SIS), American University in Washington DC and has also attended SAIS, Johns Hopkins University for summer school in Conflict Management. She has done her PhD in International Relations from SPIR , Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad.
Dr. Arshi has worked as a researcher in Washington DC with the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life and the Middle East Institute.
