Originally from the western hills of Connecticut, I grew up with big ideas. Being outdoors til the sun went down, using my hands to make something great, and constantly pursuing self improvement were values instilled in me from the start. I took those philosophies with me when I studied economics at the University of Connecticut and then French at the University of Rouen. A lifelong learner, I have studied web design and development at Clark University, attended intensive hands-on photojournalism workshops to hone my storytelling skills, and dabbled in New Media studies at the University of Southern Maine.
