Project Axshya (meaning 'TB-Free') got underway in 2010 through the Global Fund Round 9 grant, and focuses on advocacy, communication and social mobilisation activities through a national network of partner organisations who will implement them in their respective states and districts through their own sub-networks of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community-based organisations (CBOs).
