Barbara Hastings-Asatourian worked until September 2010 as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing at the University of Salford. She is an an award winning Social Entrepreneur. She is a now retired from academia and business, and now teaches Yoga as a lifestyle activity. Her professional career spanned over 40 years and has provided her with considerable experience in the field of public health in general, and sex and relationships education in particular, having worked as a nurse, midwife, health visitor, nurse teacher/lecturer and yoga teacher.
