I was born in New York City and my ethnicity is Puerto Rican. I went to college in Burlington, Vermont. My first cool job was working for my cousin's retail business, www.maxillaandmandible.com (check it out). In 1994, I moved to Charlotte for a better quality of life. From 1994 to 2010, I occupied a variety of roles, including non-profit manager, executive director and management consultant. By 2007, I completed an MBA program. At present, I'm working as a project manager for a consulting firm. I chair the board of the Latin American Economic Development Corporation of the Piedmont Atlantic Region.
