Born in Fairfield, Alabama to Walton and Iris Hamner. Spent my younger years in Pelham and my High School years in McCalla. Attended The University of Alabama. Began working as a reporter and anchor for a Birmingham radio station before learning the sales side of the building had more fun and normal work hours.
