WHAT'S THIS? Our Title 1 East Oakland middle school is close to winning $100k for a grant proposal I submitted to cultivate school/community relationships. We will install a maker space with 3D printers, and use it to create a student-designed, outdoor Music Park for parents and kids to play together on.
This is a vote-based grant rather than merit-based. Please vote for Maker Space Music Park every day this month. We are the only school in Northern CA in the runnings nationwide, and our students really need some love on this one...
