Completed his graduation in Animal Production Engineering in 1994 at University of Azores. After his graduation he was a Mathematics and Sciences teacher in Portuguese schools and trainer in the area of Information Technology. Then, completed an MSc in Information Systems in 2003 and an MSc in ICT - Information and Communication Technology in 2012. His areas of interest include STEM and Educational Technology. Currently, he is in a PhD research program in Educational Technology at the Institute of Education, University of Minho. His research interests are the use of video in education and how creative video editing using smartphones and tablets can be a pedagogical strategy.
