It is funny how things come around again. 10 years ago I was heavily involved with the Wireless Sensor Network market by working to bring to market chips that would allow analog signals from sensors to be analyzed, filtered and then handed off to a comm link. Next gen chip was to integrate everything from the sensor signal input to the comm link and eventually the RF module. The vision was to create what Kris Pister, of Dust Networks had described.
