I am Greek, born in Hamburg, Germany in 1973. In 1985 I moved to Athens, where I finished school and lateron went to study in Patras. Since 2010 I live with my family in Leverkusen, Germany I have lived in Greece, France and Germany and had the luck to visit many more places with my work... Europe, China, Russia, USA, middle east, North Africa. Coatings, especially for turbine blades, still interest me a lot and I try to keep up to date, partially through my activities as reviewer for Elsevier.
