I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a MSc. in Ecology from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, where I worked as full-time teacher and researcher from 1992 to 1997. From 1998 to 2003 I was assistant to the Coordinator of the Environmental Training Network (ETN) at the United Nations Environment Programme Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean and ETN’s publishing program assistant editor. Since 2003 I am Head of the Publications Department of the Centro de Ciencias de la Atmósfera UNAM and managing editor of the journals Atmósfera (2003-2010) and Revista Internacional de Contamina
