My experience in the tax advisory services department of Grant Thornton Pakistan (Anjum Asim Shahid Rehman & Co. Chartered Accountants) has helped me to better understand the provisions of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 together with the Income Tax Rules, 2002 and has also provided me with an insight into the workings of the Inland Revenue department of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). My experience in the Audit and Assurance department of KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. Chartered Accountants has enabled me to develop an understanding of the regulatory environments of diversified industries and the accounting and internal control systems implemented at various organizations.
