Dr Danie van Wyk Danie is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at RapidM in South Africa, focusing on the development of high speed data modems for military and commercial markets. Danie holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pretoria in field of digital communications. He received a Design Institute Award from the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) for a Self-Synchronizing BER Analyzer product. Danie has co-written the book “Space-time processing for CDMA mobile communications” (Kluwer 2000). He is the author and co-author of 5 international patents in digital communications and has published a number of articles in international journals and at international conferences.
