About
Dave Kunes currently lives in Silver Spring with his partner Nik and two cats. They settled in the DC metro area to better advocate for the underprivileged. Starting in advocacy at only seventeen, Dave bicycled over 2,800 miles to raise awareness for the small communities bypassed by our nation's thruways. He now works for State Delegate Tom Hucker, allowing him to fulfill interests in a variety of issues and activities. Prior to working for Delegate Hucker, Dave worked at the national office of Peace Action, staffed a reconstruction nonprofit in New Orleans, and served on the steering committee for the Gaza Freedom March. He spends his free time painting, bicycling, and gardening.
