Fathers Plus brings fathers and male carers together with family services so that children can benefit from the great things that men bring to their lives.
As a service of Children North East, one of the UK’s oldest children’s charities, Fathers Plus has been providing specialist support to Local Authority Children’s Services and partner agencies since 1997. The service supports the development of father friendly policies and practice to include men in line with national policy and evidence about what works to improve outcomes for children and young people.
