Davy Preuveneers received his MSc degree in computer science in 2002, and his MSc in artificial intelligence in 2003 from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. Since 2003, he is a PhD student and research assistant in the DistriNet research group at the Department of Computer Science of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. His research is in the field of component-based software engineering, middleware and service oriented architectures for context-aware adaptation. His research interests also include service composition and interaction in particular in the setting of mobile and ubiquitous computing environments.
