DeLaina Tonks is the Director of Mountain Heights Academy, Utah's premier online charter school serving students in grades 7-12.(www.mountainheightsacademy.org)
Prior to returning to Utah in 2006, DeLaina taught French and Spanish at the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow in Columbus, OH and for a decade before that at Upper Arlington High School in Ohio.
She currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Utah State Charter School Board, tasked with authorizing and evaluating performance of 120 charter schools.
