My career started in Law Enforcement at the Forensic Science Laboratory of the South African Police Service (1991-1995). During 1996 I transferred to the Crime Intelligence division of the SAPS. There I performed duties as an Analyst performing tactical research and profiling on Narcotics. Furthermore, I formed part of the project team which developed a Geographical Information System (GIS) for the SAPS.
