- I like a mix of conceptual and hands-on work. - on the design and implementation of distributed backend software and infrastructure. - strong believer in open source methodologies, and business models leveraging them. - i expect the best of me and everyone else, on all levels (process, collaboration, skillset, ...) - my pet peeves: correct application of units, terminology and statistical concepts Particulary interested in (and experienced with) performance&scalability, backend, big data process (devops, but decreasingly so) for bleeding edge and large scale environments (web2.0 etc)
