Freelance educational policy analyst. I am the outgoing international project leader for EUROSTUDENT V, which ends in May 2015. I am also working on the topic of Open Educational Resources for the OECD as external consultant. For over a decade I was employed as a senior researcher at the German Centre for Research into Higher Education and Science Studies (Deutsches Zentrum für Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsforschung) in Hanover. My specialist areas of interest are comparative studies on higher education, funding and quality assurance, and social dimensions of European higher education reform.
