Donna L. Dennis-Hill is Founder and Director of MomsHouse, a Non-Profit organization whose goal is to empower elders to lead an active living lifestyle. Donna was motivated to create MomsHouse by her mother Chalmetta E. Johnson, who went home on January 8, 2008. She cared for her mother in her last years as she became victim to MS. It was a humbling and motivating experience. As Donna cared for her, she became aware of the scores of elders out there alone, attempting to navigate the system, and just plain lonely.
