Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai-India. Prior to this position, I was working as a postdoctoral teaching and research associate in the Department of ChemicaI Engineering at the University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS, USA. I was also one of the directors, co-founder and Scientific Advisor of Alga BioPro Ltd New Zealand earlier to my current appointment. Earlier to this appointment, I was working as a short term postdoc in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science at University of Florida and got trained in microbial fermentation.
