KolaNet - A Quick Response System for Possible Nuclear Accident in the Russian Arctic Kola Peninsula - Published Articles relating to the International KolaNet Environmental Project in North-West Russia. The primary goal was to use regional networks of computer sensors to monitor, in real-time, radiation levels from the Kola Nuclear Power Plant as the basis for Emergency Response & Evacuations. Project Partners included Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Germany. with project co-ordination by the Kola Science Centre (Prof Gennady Kalabin) and Digital Equipment Corporation (Dr David E. Probert)
