I develop and lead the College of Engineering outreach programs, including the Technology Innovation Scholars Program where a highly-trained corps of engineering undergraduates engage middle and high school aged students in hands-on engineering challenges. Partnering with leading funders such as AT&T, NASA, Accenture and others, our inquiry-based STEM programs inspire and challenge students with a variety of learning styles, often in underrepresented and underserved communities, to find and pursue their passions for STEM subjects and careers.
