From 2014 I'm head of an exploratory research unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Center for Information and Communication Technology (FBK ICT Center) in Trento (Italy) on Energy Efficient Embedded Digital Architecture. Since the end of 2013, I was a research associate at DEI (formerly DEIS), University of Bologna with which I still cooperate actively leading the area of Body Area Networks and HCI within the group supervised by Prof. Luca Benini. I received the Ph.D degree in electrical engineering and computer science in 2005.
