STEP Ahead! On February 5, 2013, The Manufacturing Institute, along with Deloitte, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and University of Phoenix, honored 122 women at the inaugural Women in Manufacturing STEP Awards at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. On February 6th, 2014, the second STEP Awards will identify and highlight women who have demonstrated excellence in manufacturing. The 2014 STEP Awards Dinner Program will be hosted at the Andrew W Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC.
