I grew up in Wishart Saskatchewan on a farm, and went to Wishart High School. I left Wishart in 1971 for the great big city of Regina Saskatchewan and stayed there almost 2 weeks before catching a ride to Toronto. Toronto was huge but I had always heard it being called the big Apple... turned out New York is the big apple. I had a friend already there and connected with her and got a job and met my future husband who was her husbands friend. We got married the following year and so began a life that gave me two sons and now 4 grandchildren.
