Dr Emma Hudson-Doyle is a postdoctoral fellow and lecturer funded by EQC, GNS Science, and Massey University, and based at the Joint Centre for Disaster Research at Massey University/GNS Science, Wellington, New Zealand. Her interests lie at the interface between physical science and critical decision makers, with a primary focus on the communication of science advice for critical decision making during natural hazard events. Current research focuses on the communication of model uncertainty. Recent research projects have included investigations into the communication of probability forecasts, uncertain science advice, and team based emergency management simulations for a hypothetical vol...
