Ews-Artisanat, our new activity, was actually the first business idea that came to mind when first settled in Thailand 13 years ago. We started then an ecommerce artasiat.com which never got known or referenced and was rapidly forgotten. The reason why we got back to handcraft is as much a heart decision as a way to make money. We enjoy dealing with our suppliers (craftsmen) because Thais are generally amazing, generally really good with their hands, and are quite able to make useful things out of nothing.
