Fabro Steibel has 10 years experience working with new technology, media policy and human rights in Brazil, Europe and globally. He is currently the Independent Researcher of the Open Government Partnership for Brazil. He has a PhD in media policy supervised by Prof Stephen Coleman (at the Institute of Communications Studies, University of Leeds), and he is currently interested on online consultation projects. His recent projects include online consultation portals funded by Ford Foundation, Mercosul, IDRC, and Unesco.
