My current research focuses on nanoscale solder fabrication, characterization, thermal properties test and nanosolder self-assembly, nanoscale integration for microelectronics/nanoelectronics packaging and fundamental research of diffusion at nanoscale. I am interested in the combination of the traditional soldering techniques and nanotechnology research. The multifunctional nanowires for sensing application (both gas and biosensing) is another research area due to the specific 1D structure of nanowire.
