I am convinced that effective communication is key to accomplishing any undertaking. I find that when projects fail or when relationships strain it is often due to misunderstandings that are born out of lack of communication. When a team does not accomplish its goals, one of the key factors may be that the steps towards goal attainment were not clearly communicated to every member of the team. It may be also that when doubt on how to proceed emerges, people refrain from asking for help or clarification due to fear of embarrassment or pride.
