FOLKS is registered voluntary organization working for the conservation of traditional knowledge, cultural innovations and various indigenous traditions and practices that are rooted in local social capital and aimed at collective welfare. Human actors which have been working towards conservation and promotion of practices based in traditional knowledge are the core focus of our development intervention. Based on our theme, we work towards promotion and conservation of people鈥檚 activities that have been complementary to sustainable development. The knowledge saviours and their community based social capital are the major target population of FOLKS activities.
